All-New BOXER Engine

With the 2022 Subaru BZR, you’ll get an all-new 2.4-liter direct injection BOXER engine designed by Subaru. At 184 pound-feet of torque, you can enjoy up to 15% more torque for faster acceleration and a distinct growl that comes along with the iconic engine. At 228 horsepower, you’ll experience track-ready performance. The fuel economy is rumored to be good, with a gas tank big enough to keep you on the road longer.

Sports-Car Layout

The sports-car design can be seen and felt from front to back. With a front engine and rear-wheel-drive system, there’s almost perfect weight distribution. Additional engine features include a multi-link rear suspension system front, MacPherson struts, and a lighter chassis.
