Florida's Number One Volume Subaru Store!!!
The BRZ in the Subaru BRZ stands for Boxer engine, Rear wheel drive, and Z as the ultimate letter. It is the ultimate sports car that combines functionality, class, and a great ride. As the name denotes, it has a boxer or flat engine which is characteristic of the Subaru. The battery is placed in the rear part of the car in order to improve lightness of the front part. It features high intensity discharge headlights, vehicle stability control, seventeen-inch aluminum alloy wheels, and improved handling, partly because of its low center of gravity. It also has Torsen limited slip differential, some performance upgrades for safety, and a new engine oil cooler. The front grille takes a hexagonal shape.
The Subaru can make you feel part of an exclusive club with its choice of Premium or Limited packages. Additional features include keyless ignition, mirrors in the exteriors, dual zone climate control, leather covered steering wheel, brake handle, and shift knob, and heated seats. Ideal to the sportscar is a combination of comfort and support, and this is exactly what the Subaru BRZ seats give you. You have a choice between a leather or cloth seat cover. And although a lot of people have said that driving the Subaru BRZ makes you forget all about your other gadgets because of the grandness of the ride, it also comes equipped with Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio, USB port with iPod control, and an 8-speaker HD Radio-audio system.
It comes with two 6-speed transmissions, and a touch screen navigation head unit. Its GPS system can be voice navigated. Speedometer is digital next to the 9000-rpm tachometer. A neutral cornering feeling is also what differentiates it from its Toyota counterparts. Bi-xenon headlights, as well as 2 pairs of LED daytime running lights, an interior dash trim in satin finish silver, and external trim on the front quarter panels are other disparities.
The 2013 Subaru BRZ awards are not wanting. Among others, this car won "Coupe of the Year 2012" together with the Toyota GT 86. These two were also proclaimed the "Carsguide Car of the Year". It placed third in the Motor Trend's Best Drivers Car 2012. It is one of the 10 best cars of 2013 according to Car and Driver. It garnered the name of the IIHS Top Safety Pick of 2012, a finalist in Autoweek's Best of the Best 2013, Carsales Australia Network's People's Choice Best Performance car under $100,000, Best Sports Car of 2013 from the Canadian Autos.ca website, and was above frontrunners BMW M135i, Audi RS5, Renault Megane RS 265, Porsche 911 Carrera, and Ford Focus ST as Top Gear Australia's Car of the Year.
